Facility Assessments
The first step towards identifying financially feasible cost reduction measures involves performing an onsite assessment of all major energy users. Many utility programs include audit services in order to help their customers identify opportunities to reduce energy usage and to participate in the incentive program offerings. MWE2’s skilled staff has performed facility assessments (audits) at several different building types including major universities, community colleges, agriculture sites, golf courses, and injection molding plants. Beyond lighting, a skilled assessor will develop plans that target all major end uses such as compressed air, chillers, variable speed drives, and boilers.
